Project Description:
The Al Ain Emerat Master Plan is a visionary 900-hectare urban development designed to accommodate approximately 115,000 residents. Collaborating with HOK and HOK Sport, the master plan integrates residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, including a 40,000-seat stadium and an 18-hole golf course. The design emphasizes sustainable living, efficient infrastructure, and harmonious integration with the natural desert landscape.
Our responsibilities encompassed the overall grading strategy, ensuring minimal earthwork and preserving the site's natural topography. We conducted comprehensive analyses of logistics, water usage and balance, waste generation, and security considerations. Working closely with Martha Schwartz Partners, we developed a landscape strategy that complements the arid environment while providing functional and aesthetic green spaces. Our engineering solutions supported the seamless circulation of pedestrians and vehicles, enhancing connectivity throughout the community.
