Disciplines: Grading, Stormwater Management, Water Use Planning, Infrastructure Strategy

Project Description:

Serrenia Resort is a six-star luxury destination located along Egypt’s Red Sea coast in Hurghada. Designed in collaboration with Foster + Partners and landscape architects Gustafson Porter, the resort integrates natural landforms—including several historic wadis—into a cohesive site-wide stormwater and landscape strategy that respects the site's arid and culturally significant context.

We developed the infrastructure framework for the resort, including a grading and drainage strategy that preserved natural flow paths and supported sustainable landscape design. Our work included planning for water use, waste generation, and civil systems to support 200 luxury villas and a 330-berth marina. The marina grading was designed in coordination with site security, logistics, and access requirements, contributing to a functional and elegant waterfront layout that reinforces the resort’s exclusive positioning.
