Project Description:

The Manzanillo Master Plan is a visionary coastal resort development located on Nicaragua’s Pacific shoreline, designed to integrate luxury hospitality with ecological preservation. Encompassing a diverse landscape of beaches, bluffs, and inland forest, the plan organizes land uses to optimize ocean views, conserve natural systems, and create a distinctly Nicaraguan experience. The master plan includes low-impact luxury villas, a flagship resort hotel, wellness and recreation amenities, and an inland community hub for staff and local enterprise.

Circulation is designed to minimize vehicular traffic, promote walking and electric transport, and preserve natural topography. Infrastructure systems are planned for carbon neutrality, including renewable energy integration, on-site wastewater treatment, and landscape-driven stormwater management. Through sensitive siting, phased development, and robust environmental guidelines, the Manzanillo plan creates a blueprint for responsible coastal tourism in one of Central America’s most ecologically significant regions.
